PROJECT OVERVIEW
The work involved includes excavation/reinstatement in the carriageway/footpath/verge for the installation of a High Voltage Electric Cable to reinforce the Existing Network along the roads mentioned above with the use of temporary traffic signals as per permits imposed by the local authority.
We will try to minimise any disruption to you and your access onto your properties but whilst the works are in place. We will maintain access to your properties and driveways however when the excavation is being completed this may not be possible. During the evening or out of working hours access will be maintained. If you have any special requirements on any given day, please speak directly to the team on site who will assist you. Only the roads above will be affected by this work.
We intend to undertake our works between the hours of 07-00 and 18-00. Weekend Working will be required on some of the main roads and to speed the programme up. Weekend working from 07-00 to 17-00 Saturdays and 09-00 to 16-00 Sundays.
The council have requested that some of the works are completed at night, details of these specific sections are below.

BUS INFORMATION MOUNTSORREL ROAD CLOSURES
Where: Loughborough Road (Mountsorrel)
From: Monday 15th July 2024
To: Mid-August

Leicestershire country council have granted a road closure at Loughborough Rd Mountsorrel on the 15th of July to allow Power On to supply electrical mains to Broadnook Village.
Services will divert via Leicester Road Mountsorrel, A6 & Granite Way till mid-August bus stops will be served on diversion.
OUTBOUND TO SHEPSHED
Down to the end of The Green at Mountsorrel. Turn right onto Leicester Road which leads into Loughborough Road to the roundabout. Turn left onto the A6 and follow the to the next roundabout. Turn left onto Granite Way to the roundabout (Waitrose) and then turn right (3rd exit) then normal route.
INBOUND TO LEICESTER
Along Loughborough Road to roundabout (Waitrose) turn left onto Granite Way to roundabout. Turn right onto the A6. Go along A6 and come off at the SECOND slip road to the roundabout and turn right. Up to the next roundabout and turn right onto Loughborough Road. Continue to The Green and turn left. Then normal route.
